Maintenant disponible! The new album from The Mysterious Beings is now available in all the old familiar places, like Spotify and Pomme, as well as some you’ve never heard of. Strap on the headphones, choose your streaming service below and give it a spin.
And don’t forget to share. We are hoping to set new records and reach an audience of dozens.
The album includes several never-before-heard songs, as well as some that both keen fans of the band may have heard previewed here.
Great news for all those with refined musical tastes! In a couple of weeks, listen carefully and you may hear Gavin & the Mysterious Beings drop a finely polished album-shaped pebble into the fast flowing waters of the contemporary musical scene, making barely a ripple as it sinks to the gravel bed of obscurity. You will have a chance to catch that pebble before it hits the bottom on 10th August and, for an all-too-brief thirty-one minutes and two seconds admire its shiny perfection, perhaps then to slip it into pocket or purse to be rediscovered at some future date covered in the lint of passing years.
Just kidding, of course. More like a huge cultural boulder and a splash heard around the world. As well as some songs that may be familiar to followers of the band, In France features some never before heard songs which are even now plotting their escape to your preferred streaming service, a link to which will be provided nearer the time.
If you hear a dull thud on Thursday, September 3rd, it will be the sound of The Mysterious Beings’ new album dropping. I Give Up is a folk-poppy-rocky mix of social commentary and fun. It will be available across all streaming platforms a week from now. In the next day or two, we’ll be posting a pre-save link that will automatically add the album to your Spotify library as soon as it’s released, making sure you’re one of the first to know what everyone is talking about before they’re even talking about it.
